Stiemerheide, Slow Down in the Limburg Kempen

Close to 'De Hoge Kempen' nature reserve you will find the charming 4 star Hotel Stiemerheide. Here you can relax and unwind while you enjoy the beautiful scenery, savour culinary delights and play sports in the form of golf, cycling, swimming or walking. There are plenty of options to choose from to make your weekend getaway unforgettable.

The hotel has two restaurants which are both recommended by Michelin. Restaurant Moonstone has a Bib Gourmand recognition and Restaurant De Kristalijn has 1 Michelin star.

Restaurant Moonstone

At restaurant Moonstone you can indulge in the Belgian and French cuisine. The kitchen brigade uses seasonal products for its daily two-, three, or four-course menus. Michelin gave the restaurant a Bib Gourmand recognition and Gault&Millau rewarded it with a 13,5 out of 20 rating. We enjoyed a delicious two-course lunch with ceviche of sea bass with apple, cucumber, lime and pomegranate and dorade royale with black tiger shrimp, gnocchi, zucchini and crustacean gravy. There is an extensive wine list so that a pairing wine can be served with every single dish.

Restaurant De Kristalijn

Chef Koen Somers gained a Michelin star in 2012 and has been cooking on this excellent level for over a decade at De Kristalijn. During lunch you can choose between a three- or four-course menu, and during the evening between a four-, five-, or six-course menu. A pairing wine arrangement can be ordered with all menus. The modern restaurant has an open kitchen and a beautiful view of the golf course.
